2018 Jardy ERM

At the occasion of the French leg of the Event Rider Masters, Tacante, along with Haras de Jardy, has a life-size eco-artistic surprise in store for you! Follow on this “Gazette” page our work in progress that we promise to be 100% “green”!

What is the Event Rider Masters?

The Event Rider Masters (ERM) is a prestigious Eventing series which was launched in 2016. From the initial English and Scottish locations the ERM expanded in 2017, to France and Germany followed by Belgium in 2018. With the aim to showcase the sport of Eventing to global audiences, the Event Rider Masters is a CIC 3* gathering the world top 40 riders. An Eventing competition with differences: it’s trimmed down to 2 days instead of the usual 4 and the dressage test is a set test on music.

Jardy 5th leg of the ERM: back on the 2017 edition!

The 2017 ERM in Jardy saw a record attendance with a large public who came to discover the Eventing series and to cheer the best riders of the planet. As expected, Michael Jung (GER) and his mount Star Connection took first place in front of Karim Florent Laghouag (FRA) riding Entebbe de Hus. The British rider Oliver Townend, who won the 2016 series came third with Cooley Master Class.

Sustainable development: guest of honour for 2018!

During the Jardy leg of the ERM, we will mobilise the riders and the public so they recycle their plastic bottles and contribute in creating a life-size collaborative piece of art: a horse dressed with all the plastic bottles brought back to us during the competition!

More to come……
